Romans 4:18-22, “Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, ‘So shall your offspring be.’  Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead.  Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised.”

A prerequisite for receiving is believing.  Every promise that God has spoken over our life is obtained through faith.  Faith has the ability to make the invisible visible.  You must believe by faith that God will do what His word.  Abraham was fully persuaded that God had the power to do what He had promised despite his circumstances.  Don’t allow your current circumstances to make you doubt what God promised!  You may be standing in the midst of process, you may be standing in the midst of pain, you may be standing in the midst of problems, but your process, your pain and your problems do not negate the promise of God if you hold on to your faith!  We must be fully persuaded despite what it appears for we walk by faith and not by sight.

What has God spoken to you?  The enemy wants to wear you out in your faith and cause you to doubt God because doubt will short circuit our prayers and hinder us from receiving what God has for us.  Doubt causes us to go without, but when we believe we shall receive!  Don’t quit between promise and performance.  If you believe and couple your belief with faith, there will be a performance of His word in your life!  James 1:17 says that faith without action is dead.  It’s not enough to say I believe the Word, show me you believe by your action.  Faith is not an excuse to be lazy.  Often times we say we are waiting on God when God is waiting on us.

As a believer we must make up our mind and chose to believe God!.  I know you have had some setbacks, some disappointments, some failures and some losses, but do not allow those disappointments to discourage you and cause you to doubt.  God can use what you thought was a setback for your greatest comeback!  What the enemy thought would destroy you God will use to develop you.  You may have been down, but you are not out!

Are you ready to make a comeback?  If so, then you must be fully persuaded that it doesn’t matter what I have been through and it doesn’t matter what it looks like GOD HAS THE POWER TO DO WHAT HE PROMISED!
