Pastor Melanie Turner-Kirkland affectionately known as “Pastor Mel” is a dynamic preacher that preaches the Word of God with conviction and power. Pastor Mel once a self-proclaimed atheist had her first encounter with God in 1999. The Lord did a quick work in Pastor Mel and she immediately began to serve Him with fervor and zeal; soon thereafter Pastor Mel was called to preach His gospel.

In June of 2014 Pastor Mel launched MK Ministries (Melanie Kirkland Ministries) which is a ministry designed to Encourage, Edify, Empower and Equip women to live faith filled, victorious and abundant lives through preaching and teaching the principles in the Word of God.

In November 2016 Pastor Mel co-authored her first book, “Delayed But Not Denied: 20 Inspirational Stories About Life and Resiliency”. In May 2017 she authored her second book, “Balanced Believer, How to Live A Balanced Life and Win in Every Area” and in December 2017 she released a Women’s 21 Day Devotional entitled “Overcoming Fear and Living Fearlessly”.

Pastor Mel is the proud of wife of Christopher Kirkland and a mother of three daughters.

It is Pastor Mel’s desire to impact the lives of women everywhere she travels through the power of the Word of God.
